Objective
- Responsible for planning & procurement of goods / items in time with proper quantity, quality and at competitive price / cost.
- Coordinate with internal & external stakeholders to ensure
logistics, warehousing and inventory management of purchased items for the project.
Principal Responsibilities
- Strategically plan & manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers
and consumers - Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times,
transport costs and efficiency - Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process
shipments - Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
- Capacity building and ability to transfer knowledge to
colleagues as well as productive in team work. - Have knowledge of the freight and transport industries;
- Ability to Building good relations with beneficiary communities,
government counterparts, and other stakeholders; - Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize;
- Able to use route planning and scheduling software;
Profile
- Should have excellent communication skill in English, French and Local language
- Should have knowledge of custom rules and clearance process
- Should have planning, Organising and coordinating skills
- Should be excellent in commercial negotiation with vendors
- Should be able to work in cross-functional team
- Should be analytical and problem solving skill
- Leadership skill to fulfill the expectations of stakeholders
- BE / B.Tech
- Graduate Degree with CA qualification
- MBA Material Management
- 10 - 15 years of experience in similar role
