ENGINEERING MANAGER H/F (Public Works)

As part of its expansion in Sub-Saharan Africa, our client is reinforcing its technical leadership and is currently seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead engineering teams, coordinate disciplines, and ensure technical quality across major projects.

Your main missions

As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for :

• Promoting the integrated management of engineering and other project areas with the client and contracted designers to ensure full compliance with scope, quality, and costs.
• Managing the execution of projects, proposing methodologies and construction methods for civil engineering, mechanical and electromechanical industrial assembly, automation, and commissioning.
• Promoting research into technological innovations that enable the company's know-how to advance, generating competitive differentials in the marketplace.
• Managing technical, material, human, and technological resources with a focus on project development, expansion of knowledge, and sustainability of the company and its projects.
• Ensuring the management of the project's documentation and technical collection, from mobilization to demobilization, as well as compliance with contractual warranty requirements.
• Responding in conjunction with contracted designers for the integrity of data and calculations applied to execution dimensions, ensuring safety and hygiene specified in the projects.
• Working in conformity with standards and procedures of quality, environment, occupational health, safety, and social responsibility.

The profile we are looking for

Education & Experience

• Formal education in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Education Level: Undergraduate Education - Complete.
• Minimum experience required: 10 years

Required Technical Skills

• Experience working on road infrastructure projects, airports, industrial assembly, and similar areas.
• Knowledge and experience in the application of innovative construction methods.
• Knowledge of and access to specialized project companies in Africa.
• Fluency in French and English
