QHSE MANAGER H/F (SHIP SECTOR)

We’re looking for a QHSE Manager on behalf of our client in the field of ship ownership and management company.

Mission

Under the Country General Manager’s responsibility, you will be the warrant of QHSE policy application as per defined by our Group and more precisely of:

• Defining Quality, Hygiene, Safety, Security & Environment targets
• Replying to the Quality, Hygiene, Safety, Security & Environment sections of tenders
• Building the Quality, Hygiene, Safety, Security & Environment budget
• Supporting all customer and regulatory audits, at times, liaising with customers, regulatory agencies and suppliers linked to QHSE
• Defining the necessary trainings for Food safety and Certifications
• Implementing the ISO norms to get certified
• Ensuring follow-up and control of the Quality, Hygiene, Safety, Security & Environment KPIs
• Controlling the good application of processes, procedures and recording
• Raising awareness among the staff about clients’ and legal requirements
• Managing the internal and external prevention plan
• Following-up on prevention visits and implementing corrective actions
• Ensuring staff safety at any time by controlling infrastructures and prevention
• Leading investigations in case of incident or accident and communicate (Results, causes, briefing)
• Performing internal audits of process, procedures and rules applications, in close relationship with Group’s QHSE departments
• Analyzing the root cause of non-conformities and defining along with the management team the corrective actions
• Following-up on the respect of Catering activity legal requirements
• Being the main point of contact of the authorities and/or local administrations linked to Quality, Hygiene, Safety, Security & Environment

Profil

• Master’s degree in Food Science or Food Safety
• Five years or more of quality assurance experience, in Catering or food industry
• Proven understanding of ISO22000, HACCP and Food Safety regulations
• Experience and understanding of Total Quality Management and Change Management
• Well-organized, rigorous, and methodical but enough adaptability to local constraints and team spirit
• Motivated to receive trainings in Security management
• Taste for challenge, team spirit and tenacity are keys
• Fluent in English and French.
