UTILITY OPERATOR - CASTING

To carry out a wide range of support functions within the casting operations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

EHS

• • Performs tasks in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with the company’s operating procedures and safety regulations.

Machine

• • Assists in carrying out the tasks delegated to him as per his training completion in production areas.

Production

• • Contributes in achieving shift’s production target in terms of both quality and quantity as directed by department supervisor or his designate.

Standard

• • Follow the casting operations, metallurgical and safety procedures as per internal Quality Management system and as per the requirements of international standards – ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and Environmental Management Systems as directed by department supervisor or his designate.

Miscellaneous

• Actively participate in Suggestion scheme.
• Keeps work area and equipment’s neat and clean, 5S (Sort/ Set in Order/ Shine/ Standardize/ Sustain) is maintained.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Secondary school certificate/ level (Others)
• Vocational study certificate (boiler making, iron worker...) • Casting previous experience will be an asset

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum of 1-year industrial experiences will be an advantage

• Hazards course and Basic OHS course will be an advantage
