UTILITY OPERATOR - CELL PREHEAT

To assist the Assistant Operator, Pre-Heat in completing the pre start up preparation and consequently, assist the Operator, Pre-Heat during pot start up.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Familiarization of anodes type buffing according to standard.
• Familiarization of pot preparation tools and equipment.
• Operate mobile equipment such as Fork-lifts as required complying with Safety procedure.
• Familiarization of Preparation in advance for start up.
• Familiar with required bypass busbars/flexibles according to pot design.
• Assist operators to monitor pot during shift and prepare for bath up.

• Minimum of 12th grade schooling,
• Or Completion of vocational study certificate/level (minimum 2 out àf the 3 years program) • Applicants with two (2) years’ industrial work experience will have an advantage.

Minimum Experience:

• Complete a minimum of 1-2 years of industrial professional experience

Skills:

• Mandatory: Ability to read and write English
