UTILITY OPERATOR - FTP/GTC

Effectively support and assist to carry out the required activities during the Fume Treatment Plants operation depending on the requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

MAJOR ACTIVITIES & KEY RESULT AREAS

1. Assist during the Filter bags and the pulsing system parts replacements.
2. Assist in plant housekeeping and clearing spillages.
3. Assist in the corrective actions being conducted around the FTP’s e.g. Air slide cleaning, Secondary alumina conveying pipe descaling, Hoppers dust emission checking, Conveyor de-duster units bag replacement, Emptying built up reactors etc.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
The job holder is required to use multiple tools and equipment’s to assist in getting their assignments done in a safe and quick manner such as:

1. Hand tools such as spanners, screw drivers, pliers, pipe wrenches, hammers etc.
2. Synthetics such as Bison kit, Silicon sealant and anti-rust fluids.
3. Handling pneumatic impact wrench and compressed air hoses.

Minimum Qualifications:
Qualifications : Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C) or Higher Secondary Certificate / level (H.S.C) / vocational study level

Minimum Experience:
• Preferably industrial work knowledge. Skills:
• Ability to communicate in English language.

Valid Passport (minimum 06 month of validity as of September 2022)
